PSA’s prices as of Oct 2026
PSA paused its Value tiers on June 2, 2026, and on September 14 added a Standard tier at $59.99 per card and renamed Regular to Priority at $79.99; Express is $199. These prices are reported by several dated sources but PSA’s own site blocked our check (confidence: medium), so confirm them on psacard.com before you submit. Each tier also has a declared-value limit: $1,000 for Standard.
Break-even graded price by raw value
This is the average price the slab must sell for so that, after eBay’s 13.25% card fee, the grading fee and shipping, you keep exactly what selling raw would leave you.
| Raw sale price | You keep selling raw | Break-even graded, Standard ($59.99) | Break-even graded, Priority ($79.99) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $10 | $3.37 | $91.94 | $115.00 |
| $25 | $16.29 | $106.83 | $129.89 |
| $50 | $37.97 | $131.83 | $154.88 |
| $100 | $81.35 | $181.83 | $204.89 |
| $200 | $168.10 | $281.83 | $304.89 |
At every raw price in the table, the Standard break-even sits about $81.83 above the raw price (computed), because the grading and shipping cost is the same for every card. On a $10 card that is many times its value; on a $200 card it is a smaller share.
The example in the calculator
A card that sells for $25 raw, $150 as a PSA 10 and $50 as a PSA 9, with an even chance of a 10. The expected graded sale is $100.00, and after fees, grading and shipping it leaves $10.36 against $16.29 raw, so grading costs $5.93 on average (computed). A 10 would pay well; it is the even chance of a 9 that pulls the average down.
What the math leaves out
- Turnaround time. PSA lists Standard at 90–100 business days, and prices can move while you wait.
- Memberships, bulk minimums and value upcharges.
- Grades below 9. If an 8 is likely, lower the second value.
